Resumo: | This article aims to present the discussion about the figure of the cyborg within Afrofuturist literature, based on the narrative of the writer Fábio Kabral. In O Caçador Cibernético da Rua Treze and A Cientista Guerreira do Facão Furioso, the cyborg materializes in the figure of the protagonists João Arolê and Jamila Olabamji, representing the idea of ??fragmentation of the subject. In this way, we will address the forms of re-signification of the subject based on religiosity and the confrontation of capitalist logic. |

Em O Caçador Cibernético da Rua Treze e Cientista Guerreira do Facão Furioso, o ciborgue se materializa na figura dos protagonistas João Arolê e Jamila Olabamji, representando a ideia de fragmentação do sujeito. Desta forma, abordaremos as formas de ressignificação do sujeito a partir da religiosidade e do enfrentamento da lógica capitalista, esta que busca, no contexto das narrativas, corroer a identidade e subjetividade do sujeito.UFSC2023-08-22info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://periodicos.ufsc.br/index.php/desterro/article/view/9201910.5007/2175-8026.2023.e92019Ilha do Desterro A Journal of English Language, Literatures in English and Cultural Studies; Vol. 76 No. 2 (2023): (Re)creating possible futures or alternative presents through the artsIlha do Desterro A Journal of English Language, Literatures in English and Cultural Studies; v. 76 n. 2 (2023): (Re)creating possible futures or alternative presents through the arts2175-80260101-4846reponame:Ilha do Desterroinstname:Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC)instacron:UFSCporhttps://periodicos.ufsc.br/index.php/desterro/article/view/92019/54052Copyright (c) 2023 Roberta Reis Bahia Tszesnioski, Gilson Leandro Queluzhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessTszesnioski, Roberta Reis BahiaLeandro Queluz, Gilson2023-08-22T16:27:28Zoai:periodicos.ufsc.br:article/92019Revistahttp://www.periodicos.ufsc.br/index.php/desterroPUBhttps://periodicos.ufsc.br/index.php/desterro/oaiilha@cce.ufsc.br||corseuil@cce.ufsc.br||ilhadodesterro@gmail.com2175-80260101-4846opendoar:2023-08-22T16:27:28Ilha do Desterro - Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC)false |
