PHIL COULSON AND PEGGY CARTER:: TWO INFILTRATED AGENTS IN MARVEL'S TRANSMEDIA CINEMATIC UNIVERSE

Resumo: | This article explores the concepts of transmedia narratives proposed by Jenkins and Scolari, analyzing the characters Phil Coulson and Peggy Carter who, in addition to being secret agents in the Marvel Universe, also function as transmedia agents. The strategy present in Marvel's Cinematic Universe in the development of a transmedia network of productions provides an opportunity to observe the elements and contexts that allow this achievement through the characters originating from the comics and represented in the feature films, short films and TV series. Furthermore, they constitute important elements of connection between the various narratives of the franchise. |
