Resumo: Through a business scenario analysis, we tried to describe the obstacles found in the transition from a small Brazilian channel to a multiplatform model. The action-research method was used, which involves active participation of people involved with the organization through the authors' experience in channel tasks and interviews with managers, employees and other professionals working in the supply chain. It is concluded that it is possible for this type of organization to enter the market, but the high barriers caused by the relations between and with big enterprises impose serious restrictions on the growth and success of multiplatform models.
