THE ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE:: Thor's new hammer or a muse out-of-control?

Resumo: Technology raises a question that always seems to justify its continuity given the possibilities of its use in the discursive programming of its necessity, from its origins in fictional narratives to the latest releases from the applications and software industry, including industrial robotics and service automation. Without defining an opinion, this article simply aims to highlight the issue: by reviewing authors from the fields of communication and sociology, the field of audiovisual production is also experiencing this dilemma, which remains stuck in the same dialectic as always: popularizing technology or guaranteeing rights for the working elite?

Sin definir una opinión, este artículo pretende simplemente poner de relieve la cuestión: al repasar autores del ámbito de la comunicación y la sociología, el campo de la producción audiovisual también experimenta este dilema, que sigue estancado en la misma dialéctica de siempre: ¿popularizar la tecnología o garantizar derechos a la élite laboral?A tecnologia desperta uma questão que parece sempre justificar a sua continuidade dadas as possibilidades de seu uso na programação discursiva de sua necessidade, desde sua origem nas narrativas de ficção até os últimos lançamentos da indústria de aplicativos e softwares, passando pela robótica industrial e automação de serviços. Sem definirmos uma opinião, o presente artigo pretende apenas evidenciar a questão: ao rever autores da comunicação e da sociologia, o campo da produção audiovisual também vive esse dilema, que permanece preso à mesma dialética de sempre: popularização da técnica ou a garantia de direitos para as elites do trabalho?
