Letras LibrasDesde o reconhecimento da LIBRAS por meio do dispositivo legal sob número 10.436/02 observamos paulatinamente um aumento de surdos inseridos na sociedade e expansivamente nos cursos de formação em nível superior seja na condição de discente, bem como de docente. Essa conquista acompanha a luta incessante por acessibilidade linguística ao passo que os surdos vão galgando espaço, a categoria de Tradutores Intérpretes de LIBRAS vem ganhando notoriedade e visibilidade nas mais diversas esferas. Esses profissionais são encarregados de intercambiar comunicação em duas frentes: LIBRAS e Língua Portuguesa, sendo este segundo considerado “carro chefe” para garantia de voz sonora ao discurso visuo-gestual dos sujeitos surdos para o público leigo. É nesse cenário que objetivamos discutir as principais dificuldades na realização da interpretação da Libras para Língua portuguesa na modalidade oral e quais são as habilidades e competências necessárias para um desenvolto trabalho. Para isso, a metodologia empregada na presente pesquisa é classificada como exploratória, quanto aos seus objetivos, bibliográfica e documental quanto aos seus procedimentos e qualitativa quanto a forma de abordagem. Sendo assim, ancoramos nosso trabalho em teóricos como Nascimento (2012), Quadros (2004), Pereira (2008) Rodrigues (2018) entre outros, bem como, em documentos oficiais, como leis e decretos. Vimos que o trabalho com interpretação-voz é de grande relevância para que os discursos dos surdos sejam ouvidos pela comunidade majoritária. Concluímos que as dificuldades para o desempenho da interpretação-voz são multifatoriais como os efeitos de modalidade, gramática distinta entre as línguas envolvidas, falta de recurso na língua alvo, assimetria de direcionalidade, falta de competência tradutória e técnica sobre o desenvolver dessa atividade e por fim lacunas nos cursos formativos para o desenvolvimento dessa habilidade. Sendo assim, sinalizamos para importância de que os cursos formativos oportunizem disciplinas que maximizem práticas para aprimoração da interpretação-voz.Since the recognition of LIBRAS by means of the legal provision under number 10.436 / 02, we have gradually observed an increase in the deaf inserted in society and expansively in training courses at a higher level, whether as a student or teacher. This achievement accompanies the relentless struggle for linguistic accessibility, while the deaf are gaining space in the category of LIBRAS Interpreter Translators has been gaining notoriety and visibility in the most diverse spaces. These professionals are in charge of exchanging communication on two fronts: LIBRAS and Portuguese Language, the latter being considered the “flagship” to guarantee a sound voice to the visual-gestural speech of deaf subjects to the lay public. It is in this scenario that we aim to discuss the main difficulties in carrying out the interpretation of Libras for Portuguese in the oral modality and what are the skills and competences necessary for easy job. For this, the methodology used in this research is classified as exploratory and descriptive in terms of its objectives, bibliographic and documentary in terms of its procedures and qualitative in terms of the approach. Thus, we anchor our work in theorists such as Nascimento (2012), Quadros (2004), Pereira (2008) Rodrigues (2018) among others, as well as in official documents, such as laws and decrees. We saw that the work with voice interpretation is of great relevance so that the speech of the deaf is heard by the majority community. We conclude that the difficulties for the performance of the voice interpretation are multifactorial such as the effects of modality, different grammar between the languages involved, lack of resources in the target language, asymmetry of directionality, lack of translating and technical competence on the development of this activity and for gaps in training courses for the development of this skill.
