Engenharia de Energia.O objetivo deste artigo é investigar a visão de gestoras de “startups” sustentáveis com diferentes níveis de maturidade e nichos de mercado, assim como, contextualizar a sustentabilidade, retratando conceitos e divergências entre autores. Com o intuito de alcançar estes objetivos, segundo diferentes autores, foi realizada uma descrição de conceitos que envolvem a sustentabilidade e uma pesquisa qualitativa envolvendo modelos de negócio sustentáveis. Deste modo, foram realizadas duas entrevistas com gestoras de “startups”. Utilizou-se de entrevista semi-estruturada. Por meio dessas foi possível compreender aspectos como: 1) Visão das gestores de“startups” sobre a sustentabilidade 2) Explorar relações de autores com as gestoras 3) Relatar experiências das gestoras dentro de seus negócios. Através das entrevistas foi possível compreender os modelos de negócios e como é a interação com as esferas sociais, ambientais e econômica, assim como, entender como o modelo de negócio estruturado para a sustentabilidade opera. Assuntos como: tripé da sustentabilidade, desenvolvimento sustentável, economia verde, legislação ambiental, mercado da sustentabilidade, “startups” e inovação, foram abordados. Mediante as pesquisas realizadas e os modelos de negócios estudados, pode-se concluir que as “startups” sustentáveis lidam com questões complexas apostando na inovação e escalabilidade. As visões das gestoras foram apresentadas e descritas satisfatoriamente com os métodos de pesquisa utilizados. Possuindo em seus empreendimentos, conceitos e práticas sustentáveis aplicadas aos modelos de negócio. O fato de estarem em segmentos distintos evidencia que a inovação e a aplicação da sustentabilidade não possui uma fórmula para todos os negócios.In this work, the main objective is investigate the view of the managers businesses models with different levels of the maturity and different segments of the market, as well as, to contextualize sustainability and startups, showing variety of concepts and differences between the authors. To achieve these goals, according to several authors, a description of concept that involve sustainability and a qualitative research involving sustainable business models was realized. In this way, two interviews with managers of startups were made. The methodology used was semi-structured interview, in that way, it was possible to have a clear and far-reaching description about: 1) Startup managers view of sustainability 2) Explore relationships between authors and managers 3) Report managers experiences within their businesses. With these interviews it was possible to comprehend the business models and how it is the interaction with the social, ecological and economic fields, as well as understand how the business plan is structured to sustainability operate. Subjects as: tripod of sustainability, sustainable development, green economy, environment legislation, sustainable market, startups and innovation, were approached. Through the realized researches and the studied business plans, it's conclusive that the sustainable startups deal with complex questions, betting in the innovation and scalability. The managers point of view were presented and described satisfactorily with the methods utilized. Having in their enterprise, sustainable concepts and practices applied to the business models.
