Resumo: Sidewalks are essential components of the urban environment, because they allow the locomotion of pedestrians. The inexistence or precariousness of sidewalks compromises the mobility and accessibility of people, being a common problem in different Brazilian cities. This article presents an evaluation of the sustainability tripod from the comparison between different types of sidewalks for construction in a quilombola community in the state of Santa Catarina. After the bibliographical review, the modeling and investigation of four types of sidewalks was performed from digital prototypes, in the following building systems: a) reinforced concrete, b) interlocked floor, c) cementitious floor and d) with civil construction waste and bamboo. After that, the global sustainability assessment was performed for each prototype. It was obtained that the most economically sustainable sidewalk for the budget bases of TCPO (2012) and SINAPI (2022) was the sidewalk with interlocked floor, while the reinforced concrete sidewalk had lower values through the budget provided at DEINFRA-SC (2021). The most socially and environmentally viable sidewalk in this study is the reinforced concrete sidewalk. The contribution of this study is the identification of the most sustainable sidewalk solution for construction in a traditional quilombola community.
