Resumo: | In this paper we reflect about what is care, nursing care and some principles and consequences of the achieving of this care. We take the care as an essential component for life and dependent on love, with myself, the others and the planet dimensions. In nursing, the challenge is how to turn this care in therapeutic care in which, the person ill and the person to caregiver relate to each other aiming greater autonomy from the first, always with grounded values such as mutual knowledge and respect, namely: how to do a care more plastic, more art next to the technical, knowing the other from his look. |

Afirmamos que el cuidado es un componente esencial a la vida y dependiente del amor, con las dimensiones del yo, del otro y del planeta. En enfermería, el desafío que se plantea es cómo transformar este cuidado en cuidado terapéutico en que sujeto enfermo y profesional de enfermería se relacionen para buscar una mayor autonomía del primero, basado en valores como el conocimiento y el respeto mutuo, a saber: cómo hacer un cuidado más plástico, más de arte al lado de la técnica, conociendo al otro a partir de su ser. Neste artigo, fazemos uma reflexão sobre o que seja cuidado, cuidado de enfermagem e de algumas premissas e consequências da realização deste cuidado. Assumimos o cuidado como componente essencial para a vida e dependente do amor, com as dimensões do eu, do outro e do planeta.
