Resumo: Objective: To analyze the association between adherence to bundles and the frequency of Health Care-Related Infections in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in the city of Recife - PE, from January 2021 to June 2022. Method: Descriptive study, transversal and quantitative. In which 301 records of newborns and secondary data regarding Health Care-Related Infections provided by the Hospital Infection Control Commission (CCIH) of the institution were analyzed. Results: Of the 301 participating newborns, 8.97% developed Health Care Related Infection (HAI), 70.37% Primary Bloodstream Infection (PCI) (n=19) and 29.63% Pneumonia Associated with Mechanical Ventilation (VAP) (n=8). Conclusion: Although the incidence of HAI has decreased since the implementation of the bundles, this association has not been statistically proven, which can be explained by the short period in which it started to be implemented by the institution. The success of adhering to the bundles depends on several factors, the training of the entire team and the implementation period being the main ones.
