Health information system: analyzing implications in the family health strategy

Resumo: As recommended by the guidelines of the unified health system, the primary care department seeks to constantly improve information systems, which are essential instruments to ascertain the population's health situation and the execution of the services provided. Thus, the objective of the study was prospect about the implications of health information systems in the context of primary care, evaluate the benefits and difficulties encountered in their use, as well as the innovation brought to health services and identify the differences between the systems. It reports on an integrative review through the analysis of articles from the online Virtual Health Library databases, using the descriptors "Health Information Systems", "Primary Care" and "Family Health Strategy" combined by the use of the Boolean operator “and”. Included complete publications, available in English and Portuguese, from 2015 to 2021. 39 documents were obtained, with 9 publications selected that correspond to the scope of the study, excluding those that did not meet the objectives and those that were duplicated. Health information is an essential tool that acts in the connection and interoperability of information relevant to health, in addition to considering that the information system brings important changes to the work process of primary health care, inferring in the analysis of health situations, generating decision-making power in actions, acting as a scope of knowledge and directly impacting the quality of care.

Dessa forma, o objetivo do estudo foi prospectar sobre as implicações dos sistemas de informações em saúde no âmbito da atenção primária, avaliar os benefícios e dificuldades encontradas na sua utilização, bem como a inovação trazida para os serviços de saúde e identificar as diferenças entre os sistemas. Reporta-se a uma revisão integrativa através da análise de artigos oriundos das bases de dados online Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde, pela utilização dos descritores “Sistemas de Informação em Saúde”, “Atenção Básica” e “Estratégia de Saúde da Família” combinados pelo uso do operador booleano “AND”. Inclusas publicações completas, disponíveis em inglês e português, no período de 2015 a 2021. Obteve-se 12 documentos, sendo selecionadas 9 publicações que correspondem ao escopo do estudo, excluindo aqueles que não atendiam aos objetivos.
