Resumo: Breast cancer is one of the main causes of mortality in the Brazilian female population and doxorubicin is one of the drugs used to prevent the replication of tumor cells. Our report describes a patient with malignant neoplasm of breast that suffered the extravasation of this drug during the infusion procedure. The evolution of the lesion in the patient’s hand, the treatment and prognosis were evaluated in this case
