Resumo: This article presents the methodological procedures and results of environmental action in interdisciplinary character, which sought to sensitize and educate Rectory employees of the Federal University of São Francisco Valley-Univasf, in Petrolina-PE, on the need to reduce the consumption of cups disposable in the workplace. The action consisted of a Scientific Initiation project and integrated the implementation of the campaign Environmental Program of this institution, prior to its accession in to A3P-Environmental Agenda in Public Administration.
