Resumo: | The present study aims at discussing the pedagogical proposals that base the teaching of Physical Education. Its general objective is to study the critical approaches of Physical Education analyzing its similarities and differences through bibliographical research. It intends to understand and deepen the critical body culture (Coletivo de Autores, 1992) and critical emancipatory (Kunz, 1991; 2014) pedagogical approaches, taking into consideration the relevance and the social representation of both approaches. It intends to evidentiate the importance of both pedagogical approaches to Physical Education, understanding the points of similarity and difference between them. |

Definimos como objetivo general abordar las tendências críticas de la Educación Física, analisando sus aproximaciones y alejamientos con base en la pesquisa bibliográfica. El estúdio busca a comprender y profundizar las tendencias pedagógicas Crítico-superadora (Coletivo de Autores, 1992) y Crítico-emancipatória (Kunz, 1991; 2014), llevando em consideración la relevância y representación social de esas dos tendências. Búscase, por medio de esa encuesta, que se ponga en evidencia la importancia de las dos propuestas pedagógicas para Educación Física, llevando en consideración los puntos de aproximación y alejamiento entre ellas.O estudo se propõe a discutir as propostas pedagógicas que fundamentam o ensino da Educação Física. Definimos como objetivo geral abordar as tendências críticas da Educação Física, analisando suas aproximações e afastamentos com base na pesquisa bibliográfica. O estudo busca compreender as tendências pedagógicas Crítico-superadora (Coletivo de Autores, 1992) e Crítico-emancipatória (Kunz, 1991; 2014), levando em consideração a relevância e a representação social dessas duas tendências. Busca-se, por meio dessa pesquisa, que se evidencie a importância de ambas as propostas pedagógicas para a Educação Física, levando em consideração os pontos de aproximação e de distanciamento entre elas.
