Resumo: Football, as an important element of Brazilian culture, has membership in all generations, genres, political positions and social classes. By their relevance some thinkers have been taking it for readings of many facets of the nation. In this article, starting from the ethnographic perspective, in interdisciplinary dialogue, highlighting it as a cultural tool for children’s formation, we will reflect on elements that children take from it to learn values, attitudes and rules important to their community. We will conclude that from the football the children can appropriate social norms, sometimes reformulating them, favoring their community coexistence.

Por su relevancia algunos pensadores lo tienen tomando para lecturas de muchas facetas de la nación. En este artículo, partiendo de la perspectiva etnográfica, en diálogo interdisciplinario, destacándolo como herramienta cultural para la formación infantil, reflexionamos sobre elementos que los niños retiran de él para el aprendizaje de valores, actitudes y reglas importantes para su comunidad. Concluimos que a partir del fútbol los niños pueden apropiarse de normativas sociales, a veces reformulándolas, favoreciendo así su convivencia comunitaria.O futebol, como elemento importante da cultura brasileira, tem adesão em todas as gerações, gêneros, posições políticas e classes sociais. Por sua relevância alguns pensadores vêm tomando-o para leituras de várias facetas da nação. Neste artigo, partindo da perspectiva etnográfica, em diálogo interdisciplinar, destacando-o como ferramenta cultural para a formação infantil, refletiremos sobre alguns elementos que as crianças retiram dele para o aprendizado de valores, atitudes e regras importantes para sua comunidade.
