Methodological processes in the investigation of a teacher-artist research

Resumo: This article explores the methodological paths followed in a Ph.D. study in Contemporary Studies, developed at the University of Coimbra, resulting in the dissertation "Explorations of a teacher-artist and the paths of artistic teaching". In this study, the methodological combination of Autoethnography, Cartography, and Narrative is brought as a way of elucidating the actions that were developed throughout the research. Based on these methodological assumptions, three key concepts for the investigation were brought to light: exploration, encounter, and crossing. This triad represents the training course of the teacher-artist, constituted by the researcher.

This triad represents the training course of the teacher-artist, constituted by the researcher.O presente artigo pretende explorar os caminhos metodológicos trilhados ao longo de uma investigação de doutoramento em Estudos Contemporâneos, realizada na Universidade de Coimbra e que resultou na tese “Desbravamentos de um professor-artista e os caminhos da docência-artística”. Neste recorte, a combinação metodológica de Autoetnografia, Cartografia e Narrativa, é trazida como forma de pontuar as ações que foram desenvolvidas ao longo da pesquisa. A partir destes pressupostos metodológicos foram elencados três conceitos-chave para a investigação: desbravamento, encontro e atravessamento. Esta tríade representa o percurso de formação do professor-artista, constituído pelo investigador.
