Dramaturgy of actor’s corporeity: proposal and critical thoughts

Summary: The way how actors deal with their bodies is an important issue in contemporary theatre. The aim of this article is to show and to discuss the concept of actor’s dramaturgy of the corporeity. This concept involves questions which inter-act physical techniques, imagination, thinking, sensoriality and the way how actors relate with themselves, how do they associate it with their relations of the character’s corporeity and with their own corporeity. The dramaturgy of the corporeity would be included in the aestheticembodied-vocal post-acquisition period. We propose here some reflections about the directions which the acting work can be focused according to this premise.

O objetivo desse artigo é apresentar e discutir sobre o conceito de dramaturgia da corporeidade do ator. Esse conceito envolve questões que inter–relacionam técnicas corporais, imaginação, pensamento, sensorialidade e a maneira como os atores se relacionam com os seus próprios corpos, de como associam isso as suas relações com a corporeidade do personagem e com a sua própria corporeidade. A dramaturgia da corporeidade estaria incluída no período pós-aquisição de repertório estético-corpóreo-vocal.
