Resumo: The simultaneous cultivation of agricultural and forest species can result in changes in the interactions of the plant community, generating microclimatic changes within the understory and thus modifying the growth and productivity characteristics of the crops in consortium. Therefore, this research aimed to evaluate the dynamics of solar radiation, morphological characteristics, growth, radiation use efficiency and yield of bean and soybean, grown in succession under two arrangements of agroforestry systems and in full sun, and oats grown in agroforestry systems. The research was carried out from 2017 to 2018, in the city of Frederico Westphalen, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, with a geographical location of 27º23’48 ”S, 53º25’45” W at 480 m altitude. The experimental design used for the crops of bean and soybean was randomized complete blocks in a 2 x 2 factorial scheme with additional treatment, with two plant arrangements and two forest species and full sun, with three repetitions. The experimental design used for the cultivation of oats was randomized blocks in a 4 x 2 factorial scheme, with four agroforestry systems and two crop years, with three replications. The variables evaluated were: dynamics of solar radiation, growth, morphology and yield of annual crops. The use of different arrangements of plants and forest species changes the dynamics of radiation in the understory. Shading significantly influenced the content of chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b, total chlorophyll of plants and the chlorophyll a/b ratio, while no significance was observed in the angle of inclination of the leaves of bean and soybean. Shading also affected the characteristics of growth, yield and radiation use efficiency from bean and soybean. For oats it was found that higher levels of shading reduced the growth and yield of the crop, increased the efficiency in the use of solar radiation, number of stomata and the crude protein content. Based on the results obtained in this study, it is possible to recommend the cultivation of bean and oats in agroforestry systems. However, for soybean, due to the reduced yield obtained in agroforestry systems, new research should be developed in order to study more spaced arrangements and the insertion of culture in the initial years of implementation of agroforestry and, thus, to make the cultivation of the crop viable in agroforestry systems.

Sendo assim, está pesquisa teve por objetivo avaliar a dinâmica da radiação solar, características morfológicas, crescimento, eficiência no uso da radiação solar e produtividade do feijoeiro e da soja, cultivados em sucessão sob dois arranjos de sistemas agroflorestais e a pleno sol, e da aveia cultivada em sistemas agroflorestais. A pesquisa foi conduzida no período de 2017 a 2018, no município de Frederico Westphalen, Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil, com localização geográfica de 27º23’48”S, 53º25’45”W a 480 m de altitude. O delineamento experimental utilizado para as culturas do feijão e da soja, foi de blocos completos casualizados em esquema fatorial 2 x 2 com tratamento adicional, sendo dois arranjos de plantas e duas espécies florestais e o pleno sol, com três repetições. O delineamento experimental utilizado para a cultua da aveia, foi o de blocos casualizados em esquema fatorial 4 x 2, sendo quatro sistemas agroflorestais e duas safras agrícolas, com três repetições. As variáveis avaliadas foram: dinâmica da radiação solar, crescimento, morfologia e produtividade das culturas anuais. A dinâmica da radiação solar foi modificada pelo arranjo das plantas utilizado e pelas características do dossel das espécies florestais. O sombreamento influenciou significativamente o teor de clorofila a, clorofila b, clorofila total das plantas e a razão de clorofila a/b, enquanto não foi observada significância no ângulo de inclinação das folhas do feijão e da soja. O sombreamento também afetou as características de crescimento, produtividade e eficiência no uso da radiação solar do feijão e da soja. Para a cultura da aveia foi verificado que maiores níveis de sombreamento reduziram o crescimento e a produtividade da cultura, aumentaram a eficiência no uso da radiação solar, número de estômatos e o teor de proteína bruta. A partir dos resultados obtidos neste estudo, é possível recomendar o cultivo do feijão e da aveia em sistemas agroflorestais. No entanto, para a soja, devido as reduzidas produtividades obtidas em sistemas agroflorestais, novas pesquisas devem ser desenvolvidas com o intuito de estudar arranjos mais espaçados e a inserção da cultura nos anos iniciais de instalação da agrofloresta, a fim de viabilizar o cultivo em sistemas agroflorestaisCoordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPESporUniversidade Federal de Santa MariaUFSM Frederico WestphalenPrograma de Pós-Graduação em Agronomia - Agricultura e AmbienteUFSMBrasilAgronomiaAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internationalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessTaxas de crescimentoPerformance produtivaSombreamentoSustentabilidadeGrowth ratesYield componentsShadingSustainabilityCNPQ::CIENCIAS AGRARIAS::AGRONOMIADinâmica da radiação solar, crescimento e produtividade de culturas anuais em sistemas agroflorestaisDynamics of solar radiation, growth and yield of annual crops in agroforestry systemsinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisCaron, Braulio Otomarhttp://lattes.cnpq.br/4474590524160766Schwerz, FelipePaula, Gizelli Moiano dehttp://lattes.cnpq.br/0157652076165779Sgarbossa, Jaqueline50010000000960060060060060016170bb9-b076-4758-83e8-78cf6774f83b5ebf982e-bd31-4f86-ad2f-cb01172f1c5987e7c729-6a25-45f9-b65c-1a2c00285c4bde16b133-2a2f-43cc-b974-fa5b9dd8ad3areponame:Manancial - Repositório Digital da UFSMinstname:Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM)instacron:UFSMORIGINALDIS_PPGAAA_2020_SGARBOSSA_JAQUELINE.pdfDIS_PPGAAA_2020_SGARBOSSA_JAQUELINE.pdfDissertaçãoapplication/pdf3754643http://repositorio.ufsm.br/bitstream/1/22181/1/DIS_PPGAAA_2020_SGARBOSSA_JAQUELINE.pdf58f00b5dcf00b078700912927ebcf3baMD51CC-LICENSElicense_rdflicense_rdfapplication/rdf+xml;
