Audiolivros digitais e letramento literário: ensino de literatura na cultura da convergência

Resumo: | Poor school performance in reading presented by Brazilian students and the upcoming changes in languages teaching curriculum proposed by the new high school BNCC (2018) demand solutions for teaching literature. This thesis research aims to propose a methodology for teaching literature, using audiobooks as a tool to enhance reading skills. A Quantitative, qualitative, and purposeful research was carried out by employing a hybrid and interdisciplinary approach. For bibliographical data collection, a bibliometric research was employed, later analyzed on Nvivo 12 software. Chapter 1 brings theoretical discussions on the concept of Literary Literacy and its relationships with BNCC and Theory of Literature. Chapter 2 argues the concept of media, the ways of remediation through digital technologies, and the Audiobooks phenomena, understood as product from editorial market as well as an important learning tool. Chapter 3 presents theoretical conceptions from proposed methodology, carefully analyzing the stages of the formative process that underlies the Audiobooks recording process. Chapter 4 presents the application of the proposed methodology in two schools from Ijuí, one public and one private, throughout university extension activities by Traças Digitais project. The results point out that the proposed teaching methodology is viable, emphasizing the audiobook and its production as an important learning tool to develop reading skills. It is emphasized the improvement of motivation to start and keep literary reading, development of criticism, and greater awareness on students’ oral production. Struggling and advanced readers both were benefitted studying by using audiobooks. For teachers, the proposed methodology has promoted technological innovation by creating possibilities for students to interact with extracurricular content, through virtual classroom environment Google classroom. Results present a literature teaching methodology using audiobooks and their benefits to students in acquisition of Technological, Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK). Audiobooks are also a low-cost, easy adaptable and high impact pedagogic solution. Finally, teaching using Audiobooks enabled students to have a greater access to literary reading, promoting meaningful language experiences and development of Literary Literacy skills to reading communities. |

O presente trabalho de tese tem como objetivo propor uma metodologia de ensino de literatura para o usando audiolivros como forma de potencializar as habilidades de leitura. Para tanto, foram realizadas pesquisas quantitativas, qualitativas e propositivas, em uma abordagem metodológica híbrida e interdisciplinar. Para a coleta de dados bibliográficos foi realizado um estudo bibliométrico, sendo posteriormente analisado com o uso do programa Nvivo 12. O capítulo 1 apresenta discussões teóricas acerca do Letramento Literário, da BNCC e da Teoria da Literatura. O Capítulo 2 discute o conceito de mídia, suas formas de remidiação por meio das tecnologias digitais e o fenômeno do audiolivro, compreendendo-o como produto de um mercado editorial e como uma importante ferramenta de aprendizagem. O Capítulo 3 apresenta as concepções teóricas da metodologia proposta, analisando em detalhes cada uma das etapas do processo formativo que culmina com a gravação dos audiolivros. O Capítulo 4 apresenta a aplicação da metodologia em duas escolas do município de Ijuí, uma pública e uma privada, por meio de ações de extensão universitária do projeto Traças Digitais. Os resultados apontam para a viabilidade do ensino de literatura utilizando audiolivros, destacando a produção do audiolivro como uma importante ferramenta de aprendizagem e para desenvolvimento habilidades de leitura. Foi possível destacar o aumento na motivação para a iniciar e permanecer lendo uma leitura literária, o desenvolvimento de criticidade e maior conscientização sobre a produção oral. Tanto os alunos com dificuldades de leitura, quanto os leitores em níveis mais avançados, se beneficiaram do estudo com audiolivros. Para o professor, a metodologia proposta promoveu inovação tecnológica por meio da criação de possiblidades de interação dos alunos com o conteúdo de forma extraclasse, por meio do ambiente virtual Google Classroom. Os resultados apresentam uma metodologia de ensino de literatura usando audiolivros e seus benefícios na aquisição de conteúdos pedagógicos, tecnológicos e de conteúdos disciplinares (TPACK). Além disso, o emprego de audiolivros no ensino apresenta-se como uma solução pedagógica de baixo custo de implementação, facilmente adaptável e de alto impacto tecnológico.
