In any project, it is essential that the possibility of adverse situations to the project is considered as a factor. These situations that may or may not occur in practice are called risks. In software projects it is no different. Deadline, cost and customer needs may not be met if which situations may negatively impact the project are not clear for the stakeholders. The inherent complexity of the risk management process plus its planning characteristics make it uninteresting several times. In addition to motivation, in order to have better monitoring and control of risk management we can insert game elements. Because of this, this dissertation presents an approach to gamification of the risk management process. This gamified approach consists of phases in which the manager configures the game, organizing key risks and their probability and impact on the process, and selecting or creating actions that can be taken to mitigate or avoid those risks, composing the risk management plan. The approach aims to create a qualitative risk management routine in order to popularize such activity, given its strategic importance for organizations. At the end of the project execution, a report is also generated containing the activities developed and the understanding of risks in the project, so that it is possible to expand the knowledge of risks of the team, as well as improve the software development process.
