Resumo: | The main objective of this work is to analyze the stress-strain curve of masonry materials in prisms with two different hollow clay blocks and two mortars with different strengths, verifying the mechanical behavior of the prisms and the rupture mode of each typology when submitted to axial compression. This study used two clay block types, hollow face shell and solid face shell. The compressive strengths of the blocks are 9.85 MPa for the hollow face shell and 22.50 MPa for the solid face shell. The prisms were molded with mortar produced in the laboratory, made of cement, lime and sand, aiming to obtain a mortar with a fa/fbm,líq relationships = 0.30 and another with a fa/fbm,líq = 0.70. For this purpose, tests of resistance to axial compression were performed on instrumented prisms to analyze the behavior and specific axial deformation separately of each material in the set, in addition to being also filmed for the evaluation of the rupture mode and deformations through digital image correlation. Besides to the prisms, the ceramic blocks and mortars were also instrumented and filmed during the compressive strength tests individually in order to correlate them with the behavior together in the prisms. From the analysis of the results, the influence of the proportion that exists between the compressive strength of the mortar and the block on the strength and the rupture mode of the ceramic prisms was observed. It was found that the strength of the mortar did not have significant interference in the ultimate strength of the prisms, but in the triggering of the rupture mode process, which could accelerate or delay the start of the rupture process. The deformations of the components of the prisms recorded through the strain gauges and through the DIC technique showed differences, and it was found that the deformations recorded through the DIC technique more adequately represent the behavior of the evaluated typologies. In addition, it is concluded that the DIC technique becomes an appropriate mechanism for the evaluation of displacements and deformations for masonry. |

Os dois blocos cerâmicos utilizados são de parede maciça e parede vazada. As resistências médias à compressão dos blocos são de 9,85 MPa para o bloco cerâmico de parede vazada e 22,50 MPa para o bloco cerâmico de parede maciça. Os prismas foram moldados com argamassa produzida em laboratório, de cimento, cal e areia, visando obter argamassas com relação de resistência em relação ao bloco (fa/fbm, líquida) igual a 0,30 e 0,70. Foram realizados ensaios de resistência à compressão axial em prismas instrumentados para analisar o comportamento e a deformação específica axial separadamente de cada material do conjunto, além dos mesmos serem também filmados para a avaliação do modo de ruptura e das deformações através da correlação digital de imagem. Além dos prismas, os blocos cerâmicos e argamassas também foram instrumentados e filmados durante os ensaios de resistência à compressão individualmente de maneira a correlacioná-los com o comportamento em conjunto nos prismas. A partir da análise dos resultados, observou-se a influência da proporção que existe entre a resistência à compressão da argamassa e do bloco sobre a resistência e o modo de ruptura dos prismas cerâmicos. Verificou-se que a resistência da argamassa não teve interferência significativa na resistência última dos prismas, mas sim no desencadeamento do processo do modo de ruptura, podendo acelerar ou retardar o início do processo de ruptura. As deformações dos componentes dos prismas registradas através dos strain gauges e através da técnica DIC apresentaram diferenças, sendo que se verificou que as deformações registradas através da técnica DIC representam de maneira mais adequada o comportamento das tipologias avaliadas. Além disso, conclui-se que a técnica DIC torna-se um mecanismo apropriado para a avaliação de deslocamentos e deformações para alvenaria.Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPESporUniversidade Federal de Santa MariaCentro de TecnologiaPrograma de Pós-Graduação em Engenharia CivilUFSMBrasilEngenharia CivilAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internationalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessAlvenaria estruturalModo de rupturaCorrelação digital de imagemCurva tensão-deformaçãoStructural masonryFailure modeDigital image correlationStress-strain curveCNPQ::ENGENHARIAS::ENGENHARIA CIVILDeformações e modo de ruptura em prismas de alvenaria de blocos cerâmicos: análise experimental com extensometria e correlação de imagemDeformations and failure mode in masonry prisms of ceramic blocks: experimental analysis with extensometry and image correlationinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisMohamad, Gihadhttp://lattes.cnpq.br/5446970753192990Lübeck, Andréhttp://lattes.cnpq.br/7511022637484145Santos Neto, Almir Barros da SilvaParsekian, Guilherme Arishttp://lattes.cnpq.br/8113197703079552Ottoni, Tobias Pigatto3001000000036006006006006006003c86b0a1-5b41-49d2-93ba-306f55d01b8bfa5a1c42-1c4e-4fcb-b084-6994557586947f4e190c-5eb6-42fa-b3b1-22c41c6324938e153876-058b-4ea9-848e-9341f2adecc13c3231a7-553d-407f-8455-a375b65b5197reponame:Repositório Institucional Manancial UFSMinstname:Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM)instacron:UFSMORIGINALDIS_PPGEC_2020_OTTONI_TOBIAS.pdfDIS_PPGEC_2020_OTTONI_TOBIAS.pdfDissertação de Mestradoapplication/pdf49159347http://repositorio.ufsm.br/bitstream/1/22236/1/DIS_PPGEC_2020_OTTONI_TOBIAS.pdfefd4d423ddb32e2f184bed7ca6e5fcd0MD51CC-LICENSElicense_rdflicense_rdfapplication/rdf+xml;
