Resumo: The search for optimization of processes in production management aiming at quality is characterized by the need to identify the levels of factors that imply the right to decision making, being a basic basis for a satisfactory process. Mechanical fabrication process, more specifically a Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding with automated feeding behaves in the same way. The literature offers several optimization techniques, however, some of them do not provide the levels of influence that the parameters have in the process. Against this background, this study aims to optimize the TIG welding process with the aid of the AISI304 steel welding robot with automatic wire feed through the grey- Taguchi relationship. The research is characterized as experimental, without control which and plans experiments in the cause-effect relationship. Initially, we used Experiment Planning (DOE) to increase the compliance of experiments, in sequence, the implementation of Taguchi methodology when finding a more present characteristic in the process, without following the identification of the other Gray Relational (GRA) conditions and ANOVA test confirming an influence of variables without process. In this sense, we sought to identify the best interrelationship between the variables involved in welding by the Tig process with automated feeding. The input parameters are: Welding speed (Vs), Mean current (Im), Welding frequency (Hz), and quality characteristics obtained by macrography: Cord width (w), dilution (D), penetration (P), cord height (h) and reforestation (r). The results obtained by the Gray-Taguchi method are as follows: A3- Medium Current 80 A, B1- Frequency 1Hz and C1- Welding Speed 8mm/s. The confirmation race as variables, with a variety of results, increased almost twice as much in the dimensions of the quality characteristics, evidencing a possibility of automation of the process not a manufacturing medium for such material, as well as an opening of new studies with a number of variables used as baseline conditions.

No processo de fabricação mecânica, mais especificadamente a soldagem Tungstênio Inert Gas (TIG) com alimentação automatizada comporta-se da mesma maneira. A literatura oportuniza diversas técnicas de otimização, entretanto, algumas delas não proporcionam os níveis de influências que os parâmetros possuem no decorrer do processo executado. Frente a este cenário, este estudo tem por objetivo otimizar o processo de soldagem TIG com auxílio do robô de solda em aço AISI304 com alimentação automática de arame a frio por meio da relação grey- Taguchi. A pesquisa é caracterizada como experimental, no qual controla e planeja experimentos na relação de causa efeito. Inicialmente, se utilizou o Planejamento de Experimentos (DOE) aumentando a conformidade dos experimentos, na sequência, a execução da metodologia de Taguchi ao evidenciar a característica mais presente no processo, no seguinte a identificação das outras condições ótimas de processos presentes no processo via Analise Relacional Grey (GRA) e a realização do teste ANOVA constatando a influência das variáveis no processo. Nesse sentido procurou-se identificar o melhor inter-relacionamento entre as variáveis envolvidas na soldagem pelo processo Tig com alimentação automatizada. Os parâmetros de entrada são: Velocidade de soldagem (Vs), Corrente média (Im), Frequência de soldagem (Hz), e como características de qualidade obtidas pela macrografia: Largura do cordão (w), diluição (D), penetração (P), altura do cordão (h) e reforço (r). A pesquisa obteve como resultado após a aplicação do método Grey-Taguchi as variáveis que possuem maior representação nas características ótimas de qualidade, A3- Corrente Média 80 A, B1- Frequência 1Hz e C1- Velocidade de soldagem 8mm/s. A corrida de confirmação com as variáveis ótimas encontradas, proporcionou um aumento de quase duas vezes mais nas dimensões das características de qualidade, evidenciando uma possibilidade de automatização do processo no meio fabril para tal material, assim como a abertura de novos estudos com um número maior de variáveis utilizando as condições encontradas como embasamento.Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPESporUniversidade Federal de Santa MariaCentro de TecnologiaPrograma de Pós-Graduação em Engenharia de ProduçãoUFSMBrasilEngenharia de ProduçãoAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internationalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessProcesso de fabricaçãoPlanejamento de experimentos (DOE)Solda TIGQualidadeManufacturing processDesing of experiments (DOE)TIG weldGrey-TaguchiQualityCNPQ::ENGENHARIAS::ENGENHARIA DE PRODUCAOOtimização do processo de solda TIG no aço tubular AISI 304 por meio da análise de relação Grey - TaguchiOptimization of the TIG welding process in AISI 304 tubular steel by Gray - Taguchi relationship analysisinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisGodoy, Leoni Pentiadohttp://lattes.cnpq.br/7499692835204617Polacinski, Ediohttp://lattes.cnpq.br/9809478917236434Nogueira, Romario Mauricio Urbanettohttp://lattes.cnpq.br/9348473226176024http://lattes.cnpq.br/0755587898182238Prato Neto, Cyro Rei300800000005600789ffbac-1499-499a-83fa-2429e3a07b6614c9d394-b490-4fa5-9130-db8481727850e3126c1b-9494-4580-be43-55997013b5f19878a085-cadb-48a1-9536-1bbe01f7b41dreponame:Repositório Institucional Manancial UFSMinstname:Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM)instacron:UFSMORIGINALDIS_PPGEP_2018_PRATO NETO_CYRO.pdfDIS_PPGEP_2018_PRATO NETO_CYRO.pdfDissertação de Mestradoapplication/pdf2349306http://repositorio.ufsm.br/bitstream/1/14712/1/DIS_PPGEP_2018_PRATO%20NETO_CYRO.pdf6d1c058c3906f3042d298681e8868e11MD51CC-LICENSElicense_rdflicense_rdfapplication/rdf+xml;
