Education environmental in schools is an important instrument of critical citizen training, as this search has developed as a basis for changing attitudes. For the development of works with the theme of environmental education, it is necessary to understand the student's reality, his vision and the interaction with the environment where he lives. The present study aimed to compare the level of knowledge of environmental themes, such as water resources, and secondary education resources for high school and elementary school students aged 12 to 17 years, from a college of urban area of Paranagua. Using the qualitative analysis with 80 students from the Porto Seguro State College, located in the city of Paranagua - Pr. Data analysis showed that the students did not have a significant variance in the environmental understanding of the different ages and levels in relation to solid waste, water resources and forest conservation.
