Resumo: | Education environmental in schools is an important instrument of critical citizen training, as this search has developed as a basis for changing attitudes. For the development of works with the theme of environmental education, it is necessary to understand the student's reality, his vision and the interaction with the environment where he lives. The present study aimed to compare the level of knowledge of environmental themes, such as water resources, and secondary education resources for high school and elementary school students aged 12 to 17 years, from a college of urban area of Paranagua. Using the qualitative analysis with 80 students from the Porto Seguro State College, located in the city of Paranagua - Pr. Data analysis showed that the students did not have a significant variance in the environmental understanding of the different ages and levels in relation to solid waste, water resources and forest conservation. |

Para o desenvolvimento de trabalhos com o tema educação ambiental, é necessário compreender a realidade do aluno, sua visão e interação com o meio onde vive. O presente estudo teve como objetivo avaliar e comparar o nível da representação de temas ambientais, tais como resíduos sólidos, recursos hídricos e conservação de florestas por estudantes do ensino médio e ensino fundamental com estudantes de idade entre 12 e 17 anos, de um colégio da área urbana de Paranaguá. Utilizou-se da análise qualitativa e quantitativa com 80 alunos do Colégio Estadual Porto Seguro, situado no município de Paranaguá – Pr.
