Resumo: The objetive of this research was to evaluate the effect of heating temperature of the logs, presessing time and pressing temperature on the glue line strength of Pinus teada phenolic plywood. A factorial analysis was applied for the different treatments showing that the best heating temperature was 60ºC and the best pressing temperature 145ºC, pressing time 9 minutes. Veneers and playwood produced at these showed the propertied.

O presente trabalho teve como objetivo avaliar o efeito da temperatura de aquecimento das toras, do tempo de prensagem e da temperatura de prensagem, sobre a resistência da linha de cola de compensados fenólicos de Pinus taeda. As temperaturas de aquecimento usadas foram de 20ºC, 40ºC e 60ºC. Os tempos de prensagem 6 e 9 minutos. As temperaturas de prensagem 135ºC, 145ºC e 155ºC. O experimento foi completamente casualizado com o arranjo fatorial dos tratamentos. A temperatura de aquecimento afetou os valores de resistência ao cizalhamento, sendo a maior temperatura a de 60ºC. Das combinações entre dois fatores verificou-se de que a combinação da temperatura de prensagem a 145ºC e um tempo de prensagem de 9 minutos foram os melhores.
