The immersions every two and four hours and the filter paper showed higher growth andnumber of shoots, but caused a greater percentage of hyperhydric shoots. Under the conditions and systemtested, the additional air injection in the RITA® bioreactor did not influence the culture growth. |

Under the conditions and systemtested, the additional air injection in the RITA® bioreactor did not influence the culture growth.http://dx.doi.org/10.5902/1980509813321Os objetivos do presente estudo foram avaliar diferentes intervalos de imersão (2, 4, 8 e 16 horas) e suportes de apoio (papel-filtro e espuma) dos explantes de Eucalyptus grandis x Eucalyptus urophylla dentro dos recipientes de imersão temporária automatizada (RITA®), assim como um sistema de ventilação com entrada de ar acoplado ao recipiente dos biorreatores. Foram avaliadas as características: massa fresca, número de brotos e hiper-hidricidade dos explantes, na fase de multiplicação de gemas axilares. As imersões a cada duas e quatro horas e o suporte papel-filtro proporcionaram maior crescimento e multiplicação dos explantes, porém, ocasionaram maior percentual de brotos hiper-hídricos.
