Resumo: The light source can regulate the morphogenesis of the in vitro culture. The objective of this work was to evaluate the effect of four different LED light: white, red, blue and pink (50% blue and 50% red) under the stages of multiplication and rooting of in vitro cultures of Cedrela odorata. In the multiplication phase, the MS culture medium was added to 8.8 μM of 6-benzylaminopurine (BAP) and 0.28 μM of gibberellic acid (GA3) under the effect of the types of light. Rooting was evaluated the interaction of light types under two concentrations of indolebutyric acid IBA (4.9 and 9.8 μM). In multiplication, under white LED light, 3.9 sprouts per explant were obtained, with longer sprouts (2.1 mm) and no oxidation. Similarly, at rooting, cultures under white LED light were higher in the number of roots formed and lower oxidation. It was found that white LED light optimized the multiplication and rooting phase in the micropropagation of this forest species according to this study.
