Rio Branco/AC municipal education plan (2015-2025): elaboration, design and approval process

Resumo: | This article analyzes the process of conception and approval of the Rio Branco Municipal Education Plan/AC, considering the context in which it was set up, the set of forces that determine its approval, the actors involved, the process and the most controversial goals. In addition to Law 2,116 / 2015, the research mainly uses Apple (2003), Höfling (2001) and Mainardes (2006). As conclusive elements it was found that the teaching about gender and sexual orientation dominated the debate for the construction of the SME, to the detriment of the latent educational challenges in the municipality; the speed of the discussion, taking into account the interests of the powers, and, finally, that the current policy of cuts in education already translates into the impossibility of accomplishing the goals expressed in the Rio Branco PME.Key-words: educational politics; planning; municipal plan of education. |

Além da lei n. 2.116/2015, a pesquisa utiliza como aporte Apple (2003), Hõfling (2001) e Mainardes (2006).
