This work has as main subject the use of spaces, as teaching methodology. This is an analysis of the internship report, in which I was the teacher of practice. This research was developed in a school of the municipal network, in the city of Santa Maria, with children between 4 and 5 years old, in a pre-school class. The objective was to understand the possibilities and limitations for the use of spaces as a means of learning playing, in an exploratory, qualitative and bibliographical nature. In view of the data, a bibliographic research was carried out in papers and books, seeking the theoretical foundation, knowledge and understanding of these questions. Through the spaces, the child can learn and develop, experience and interact with his colleagues and with his teacher through the play. The results were analyzed in fifteen classes and presented in the form of description and discussion about the data collected. Concluding that in relation to the interaction and exploitation of the spaces by the children, these have a better effectiveness when the children are in larger groups, because they like to play, interact and socialize in groups, having preference in playing together than Individually.
