Resumo: The research object is related to palliative care in primary health care and its implications for multiprofessional practice. Objectives: perform the situational diagnosis of the family health strategy team in relation to the care of patients in palliative care; and to intervene in the qualification of the multiprofessional health team of a family health strategy in a municipality in the south of Brazil for palliative care, based on their demands. The research is qualitative of the type of action research. The scenario was a family health strategy located in a city in the interior of the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The participants were professionals from the multiprofessional team linked to this institution, totaling 17 participants. Data were produced using the technique of semi-structured interviews, focus group and field notes, after approval by the ethics committee under opinion no. 2,435,442, using Bardin's content analysis. The research followed the trajectory proposed by the methodological framework of action research: exploratory phase (situational diagnosis), action planning, implementation and evaluation of the action. In the situational diagnosis, the following categories and subcategories were formulated: Palliative care: concept, knowledge and practice; Obstacles to the implementation of palliative care in primary health care; and its subcategories: Unpreparedness in the management of palliative care; Devaluation of the professional as a counterpoint to palliative care; and Strategies for the development of palliative care in primary care. The present study showed the importance of educational activities in health in the area of palliative care for professionals. This study made it possible to identify the knowledge of health professionals on Palliative Care before an educational activity on the topic, as well as after its completion. The lack of knowledge about the philosophy and principles, as well as the indications for palliative care, the insecurity to deal with the necessary behaviors and the lack of training activities, as a process of reflection in and for work on the subject were the main aspects punctuated by the study

A pesquisa seguiu a trajetória proposta pelo referencial metodológico da pesquisa ação: fase exploratória (diagnóstico situacional), planejamento da ação, realização e avaliação da ação. No diagnóstico situacional, formularam-se as seguintes categorias e subcategorias: Cuidados paliativos: conceito, saberes e prática; Obstáculos para implementação do cuidado paliativo na atenção primária à saúde; e suas subcategorias: O despreparo no gerenciamento dos cuidados paliativos; Desvalorização do profissional como contraponto aos cuidados paliativos; e as Estratégias para o desenvolvimento dos cuidados paliativos na atenção primária. O presente estudo evidenciou a importância de atividades educativas em saúde na área dos cuidados paliativos para os profissionais. Este estudo possibilitou identificar os conhecimentos de profissionais de saúde sobre Cuidados Paliativos antes de uma atividade de educação sobre o tema, bem como após a sua realização. O desconhecimento acerca da filosofia e princípios, bem como das indicações de cuidados paliativos, a insegurança para lidar com as condutas necessárias e a falta de atividades de caráter formativo, como um processo de reflexão no e para o trabalho sobre o assunto foram os principais aspectos pontuados pelo estudo.porUniversidade Federal de Santa MariaCentro de Ciências da SaúdePrograma de Pós-Graduação em EnfermagemUFSMBrasilEnfermagemAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internationalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessCuidados paliativosEducaçãoAtenção primária à saúdeEquipe multiprofissionalPalliative careEducationPrimary attentionMultiprofissional teamNurseCNPQ::CIENCIAS DA SAUDE::ENFERMAGEMCuidados paliativos na atenção primária: uma ação educativa para a equipe multiprofissionalPalliative care in primary care: a educational action for multiprofessional teaminfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisNietsche, Elisabeta Albertinahttp://lattes.cnpq.br/2463100315122592Cogo, Silvana BastosCordeiro, Franciele RobertaGirardon-Perlini, Nara Marilene OliveiraBarlem, Edison Luiz Devoshttp://lattes.cnpq.br/1131348373087805Silva, Thayná Champe da4004000000006006006006002d9504e1-1cf4-4db0-a87a-749e74b54f36021dbe47-920f-4ac1-a047-2d2d2dcbd2026e27612c-11b0-44bf-bccf-84bd5a52fea2d7024371-3331-4e8b-acd4-0dc907fbfd6066ff388b-1b8d-4081-b575-ce6f67356cd618cd0b4f-5ecf-497d-8fcd-24caeb53fceereponame:Biblioteca Digital de Teses e Dissertações do UFSMinstname:Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM)instacron:UFSMORIGINALDIS_PPGENFERMAGEM_2020_SILVA_THAYNA.pdfDIS_PPGENFERMAGEM_2020_SILVA_THAYNA.pdfDissertaçãoapplication/pdf1562572http://repositorio.ufsm.br/bitstream/1/21055/1/DIS_PPGENFERMAGEM_2020_SILVA_THAYNA.pdf0660357eb0bde9d8dc015ec588f3bb09MD51CC-LICENSElicense_rdflicense_rdfapplication/rdf+xml;
