Resumo: The nutrition of the breeders can significantly influence embryonic growth and development, because the embryo is totally dependent on the nutrient content that is deposited in the egg. In this way the present study was carried out with the purpose of evaluating the effect of different nutritional compositions of the diet on the reproductive aspects of cutting matrices and their effect on progeny performance. To meet the demand for this objective, three studies were developed, resulting in chapters II, III and IV. Each chapter is composed of an evaluation with matrices of cut chickens and one with progeny, aiming at the evaluation of the effect of the on top supplementation of each diet on the reproductive parameters of cutting matrices and the performance of their progenies. In order to meet each objective of each chapter, the following methodology was followed: Chapter II: EFFECT OF GUANIDINOACTIC ACID SUPPLEMENTATION (GAA), IN DIETS OF MATRIX CUTTING FRUITS ON REPRODUCTIVE PARAMETERS AND PERFORMANCE OF PROGENIE, 252 females and 24 males of the Cobb 500 lineage from the 50th to 66th week of age were submitted to DIC with 2 treatments (basal diet X basal diet + 0.1% GAA added on top) With six replicates of 21 females and 2 males per replicate. For progeny evaluation, chicks from the matrices were obtained using a DIC with 2 treatments (chicks from or without GAA fed breender), with 7 replicates of 7 male chicks per replicate. To evaluate the performance of the broiler matrices, the parameters studied were posthaste rate, hatch rate, hatchability rate and fertility, recorded weekly from the 51st to 66th week of production, egg weight and egg specific gravity at every 28 days. To evaluate the performance of the progenies, information on weight gain (BWG), feed intake (FI) and feed conversion (FCR) from 1 to 21 days of age were collected. The data obtained from both tests (broiler and progeny matrices) were submitted to analysis of variance (ANOVA), taking into account the level of significance of 5% of probability. These procedures were performed with the help of the statistical program SAS. Chapter III: EFFECT OF AVAILA®-ZMC SUPPLEMENTATION ON BROILER MATRICES DIETS ON REPRODUCTIVE PARAMETERS AND PROGENY PERFORMANCE, 252 females and 24 males of the Cobb 500® line of the 50th to 66th week of age were submitted to a DIC with 2 treatments (basal diet X basal diet + 0.1% of AVAILA®-ZMC If added form on top), with six replicates of 21 females and 2 males per replicate. For the evaluation of progeny, chicks from the matrices submitted to maternal diets were obtained at two ages (62nd and 66th week of age). For each test, a DIC was applied, with 2 treatments (chicks born from matrices fed or not with AVAILA®-ZMC), with 7 replicates of 7 male chicks per replicate. To evaluate the performance of the broiler matrices, the parameters studied were posthaste rate, hatch rate, hatchability rate and fertility, recorded weekly from the 51st to 66th week of production, egg weight and egg specific gravity at every 28 days. To evaluate the performance of the progenies, information on BWG, FI and FCR from 1 to 21 days of age were collected. The data obtained from both tests (cutting and progeny matrix) were submitted to analysis of variance (ANOVA), taking into account the level of significance of 5% of probability. These procedures were performed with the help of the statistical program SAS. Chapter IV: EFFECT OF AVAILA®-SE SUPPLEMENTATION ON BROILER MATRICES DIETS ON REPRODUCTIVE PARAMETERS AND PROGENY PERFORMANCE, 252 females and 24 males of the Cobb 500® line of the 50th to 66th week of age were submitted to a DIC with 2 treatments (basal diet X basal diet + 0.01% of AVAILA®-Se If added Form on top), with six replicates of 21 females and 2 males per replicate. For the evaluation of progeny, chicks from the matrices submitted to maternal diets were obtained at two ages (62nd and 66th week of age). For each test, a DIC was applied, with 2 treatments (chicks born from matrices fed or not with AVAILA®-Se), with 7 replicates of 7 male chicks per replicate. To evaluate the performance of the broiler matrices, the parameters studied were posthaste rate, hatch rate, hatchability rate and fertility, recorded weekly from the 51st to 66th week of production, egg weight and egg specific gravity at every 28 days. The data obtained from both tests (cutting and progeny matrix) were submitted to analysis of variance (ANOVA), taking into account the level of significance of 5% of probability. These procedures were performed with the help of the statistical program SAS. It has been shown that on top of GAA supplementation improved the rate of laying, hatching, hatchability and fertility of the females, as well as the zootechnical indexes of progeny performance. The supplementation with organic minerals in the feed of cutting mats on top form, provided positive effects on the rate of laying, hatching, hatchability, egg fertility. In relation to egg weight and chick weight at birth, it was observed that heavier eggs incubation allowed the weight of chicks at birth to be heavier for control treatment in relation to the treatment coming from matrices supplemented with organic minerals, and in the performance of their Progenies.
