Resumo: O presente trabalho tem por objetivo abordar e analisar as reflexões sobrefeitiçariae cultura popular desenvolvida pelo historiador italiano Carlo Ginzburg durante os quinze primeiros anos de sua produção intelectual (1961-1976). A investigação parte das possíveis influências e interlocuções das obras de Ginzburg com a produção de outros historiadores, em particular Delio Cantimori e Aby Warburg, intelectuais essenciais para a concepção de seus primeiros livros no que se refere às temáticas e métodos implicados no processo da escrita histórica. Posteriormente, a atenção voltar-se-á à crítica interna dessas obras do historiador italiano, ​Os andarilhos do bem e ​O queijo e os vermes, atentando-se à emergência das tensões, interlocuções e preocupações metodológicas e políticas nelas presentes.

The research begins with an investigation on the possible influences and interlocutions between Ginzburg and other historians, particularly Delio Cantimori and Aby Warburg, essential influences for the conception of Ginzburg’s first books regarding to subjects and methods implicated in the process of historical writing.
