Resumo: | The objective of this work was to analyze the construction of class alliance projects in the newspaper A Classe Operária in the period between 1928 and 1935, a period known as the second phase of the press organ of the Communist Party of Brazil. To this end, the research focused primarily on identifying the formulation of the idea of class alliance that would be exposed in the party newspaper. At first, this idea was influenced by the theorizing of Octávio Brandão presented in the book "Agrarianism and Industrialism: Marxist-Leninist essay on the revolt of S. Paulo and the class war in Brazil", written between the years 1924 and 1926 In the pages of the newspaper, the idea of an alliance consisted of a union between the proletariat and the "petty-bourgeoisie," and the peasantry had a secondary role, which was not in accordance with the guidelines of the Third Congress of the Communist Party of Brazil, realized between the end of 1928 and the beginning of 1929, when the importance of the search for support of the peasantry was affirmed. This situation would change since 1930, since the newspaper would reflect the guidelines imposed by the South American Secretariat of the Communist International, which had imposed sanctions on the idea of an alliance with the "petty bourgeoisie" since 1929. In this way, the search for the support of the peasants gained more force in the pages of the press organ of the party, including with the use of terms to try an approximation with the realities lived by the rural workers. However, the newspaper could not completely abandon the idea of an alliance with the "petty-bourgeoisie." In addition, in this period the inclusion of elements such as blacks, natives and women in the idea of alliance was verified. Finally, between 1932 and 1935, but mainly between the years 1934 and 1935, it was verified that the newspaper would return to the debate of the formation of a united front, culminating with the support of the party to the National Liberating Alliance, founded in March 1935, at the same time as it would demonstrate a tendency to putschism or coup, represented by the leaders of the Communist Party of Brazil itself, as we could see in the ideas expressed in the newspaper A Classe Operária. In this way, it was verified how the idea of class alliance was related to the question of democracy. |

In this way, it was verified how the idea of class alliance was related to the question of democracy.O objetivo deste trabalho foi analisar a construção dos projetos de aliança de classes no jornal A Classe Operária no período entre 1928 e 1935, época conhecida como a segunda fase do órgão de imprensa do Partido Comunista do Brasil.
