As classes sociais no Brasil: a dinâmica do conceito durante os governos do PT (2003-2013)

Resumo: The present dissertation essay has as its critical analysis object the ongoing debate concerning the theoretical formulations about the brazilian social classes concepts. These dispute has been formed through the analysis of the conjectural elements regarding multiple factors, such as: the employment formalization, the growth of specific positions in the labour market, the rise in minimum wage, the broadening of the lower classes access to credit, the increase of the income mainly due social security or income distribuition policies (like the governamental program Bolsa Família), the expansion of access in superior education courses and the enlargement of brazilian PIB during the presidential terms of PT between 2003 and 2013. Our mainly approach, as concerning the dynamics of the social classes concepts in Brazil during the forementioned period, is to elaborate a critical analysis of the thesis that choose to situate the social classes inside a particular social sphere, in spite of characterizing they for their (and in their) multiple determinations. To achieve that, we depart from the designation that Pochmann (2012;2014), Singer (2012) and Souza (2012), authors who summarised the debate, restricted the conceptual characterization of the working class to the fields of echonomics, political-ideological and culture, respectively.

Debate que se formou a partir da análise sobre elementos da conjuntura relacionados à formalização do emprego, ao crescimento de certos tipos de vaga no mercado de trabalho, ao aumento do valor do salário mínimo, à ampliação do acesso ao crédito para a população de baixa renda, ao crescimento da renda via previdência social ou às políticas de distribuição de renda (como o Programa Bolsa Família) e à ampliação do acesso ao ensino superior e o crescimento do PIB que formouse durante os governos do PT de 2003 a 2013. Como forma de apresentar a dinâmica do conceito de classes sociais no Brasil durante esse período, faremos uma análise crítica, centralmente, das teses que escolheram, em lugar de caracterizar a classe trabalhadora em suas múltiplas determinações, situá-la conceitualmente dentro de uma esfera social particular.
