ANÁLISE COMPARADA DO CONTO ORIGINAL E DA VERSÃO PARA O CINEMA DE "A BELA E A FERA"

Resumo: O presente artigo tem por objetivo analisar o conto A Bela e a Fera, de 1757, da escritora francesa Jeanne-Marie Leprince de Beaumont comparando com a versão para o cinema, dirigida por Christopher Gans a fim de que possamos refletir e repensar o trabalho com o texto literário na escola, seja nas versões tradicionais ou contemporâneas. O trabalho está fundamentado nos estudos de Propp, Gotlib, Simonsen, entre outros. Pretende-se que esta análise sirva como referência para estabelecer discussões nas aulas de literatura acerca dos dois diferentes modos de se contar a história, a partir dos diferentes pontos de vista de um e de outro modo, despertando o senso crítico dos alunos e sua capacidade de analisar o processo de transmutação do conto para o cinema podendo averiguar os vários aspectos tanto estéticos-estruturais quanto socioculturais das narrativas.Palavras-chave: conto maravilhoso; categorias proppianas; cinema e literatura; ensino Abstract: This article aims to analyze the tale Beauty and the Beast, 1757, by the French writer Jeanne-Marie Leprince de Beaumont comparing to the film version, directed by Christopher Gans so that we can reflect and rethink the work with the literary text in school, whether in traditional or contemporary versions. The work is based on studies of Propp, Gotlib, Simonsen, among others. It is intended that this analysis will serve as a reference for establishing discussions in literature classes about the two different ways to tell the story from different points of view of an otherwise rousing critical thinking of students and their ability to analyze the process of transmutation of the story for the film can investigate the various aspects of both aesthetic-structural and socio-cultural narratives.Keywords: wonderful tale; proppianas categories; film and literature; teaching
