Resumo: This article deals with violence, torture and guilt, based on the novel Não falei, by Beatriz Bracher, under a philosophical look, focusing on the procedural nature of the violence carried out by the Brazilian military dictatorship established in 1964 and ended in 1985. The article is based on authors such as Nietzsche, Freud, Rousseau, Vergely, Lavelle, Ricoeur and Terestchenko in the sense of seeking theoretical contributions to the temptation of practice and justification for torture, using the teacher character, the central character of the narrative, also providing opportunities for reflection on the violence that inhabits school environments.

Universidade Federal do Norte do Tocantins2021-11-21info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://periodicos.ufnt.edu.br/index.php/entreletras/article/view/1261010.20873/uft2179-3948.2021v12n2p29-48EntreLetras; v. 12 n. 2 (2021): FACES DAS DITADURAS EM ROMANCES LATINO-AMERICANOS CONTEMPORÂNEOS; 29 - 482179-3948reponame:EntreLetrasinstname:Universidade Federal do Tocantins (UFT)instacron:UFTporhttps://periodicos.ufnt.edu.br/index.php/entreletras/article/view/12610/19363Copyright (c) 2021 EntreLetrasinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessFreitas, José Carlos de2021-12-29T15:23:24Zoai:ojs2.ufnt.acessoacademico.com.br:article/12610Revistahttps://sistemas.uft.edu.br/periodicos/index.php/entreletras/indexPUBhttps://sistemas.uft.edu.br/periodicos/index.php/entreletras/oaientreletrasuft@gmail.com || dirpesq@ufnt.edu.br2179-39482178-9479opendoar:2021-12-29T15:23:24EntreLetras - Universidade Federal do Tocantins (UFT)false
