Resumo: This paper intends to reflect on freedom in the novel “A maçã no escuro” (1961), by Clarice Lispector (1920-1977). In this study, we problematize the idea of freedom that we call authentic disconnected from any rational, bourgeois, capitalist perspective. It is, according to our approach, a free life that turns out to be future — to come — where it is possible to live in otherness with organic and inorganic beings, not seeing them as merchandise, but as enhancers of experience. For this article, we used the reflections of Benjamin (2019), Bosi (2002), Buck-Morss (2012), Foucault (1994), Deleuze; Guattari (2011), Giorgi (2016), Nascimento (2021), Ginzburg (2003), among others.

Neste estudo, problematizaremos a ideia de liberdade que chamamos de autêntica — desligada de qualquer perspectiva racional, burguesa e capitalista. Trata-se, de acordo com a nossa abordagem, de uma vida livre que se revela futura — por vir —, onde se é possível conviver em alteridade com os seres orgânicos e inorgânicos, não os vendo como mercadoria, mas como intensificadores de experiência.
