THE SIGN "RESISTANCE" IN THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS OF 2018 IN BRAZIL

The purpose of this article is to analyze the communication interactions on social media, taking into account the thoughts of Bakhtin Circle as a theoretical and methodological basis and understanding the relationship of that with the idea of resistance and its influence on political polarization. In order to study that is necessary to use the concept of ideological sign and the concept of utterance, especially in a moment of social tension that Brazil's 2018 Presidential Election was. The objects of analysis are posts taken from two pages of the social network Facebook, since this platform played a significant role throughout the electoral process. The justification is found useful for analyzing and reflecting about contemporary communication processes, focusing on the political sphere and also on the media sphere. Hence, we can see a reframing of the ideological sign which happens with the idea of resistance, showing the social positions of subjects surrounded by political tension.
