COVID-19 PANDEMIC’S IMPACTS IN THE GRADUATE SCHOOL: WHAT THE PROFLETRAS’ MASTERING STUDENTS TELL US

Resumo: In this article, we analyze the accounts of teachers enrolled in the Mestrado Profissional em Letras em Rede Nacional (PROFLETRAS) about their experiences of research and teaching in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, especially in a moment of uncertainty about the directions of education and research, in the year 2020. To do so, we mobilized categories of discourse semiotics, observing in the discourse of master's students the malevolent and benevolent passions around the pandemic event. The speech of impotence and frustration marks the report of teacher-researchers in a moment of intense precariousness of working conditions in education.

Para tanto, mobilizamos categorias da semiótica discursiva, observando no discurso dos mestrandos as paixões malevolentes e benevolentes em torno do acontecimento pandêmico.
