Resumo: This research aims to conduct comparative analysis about the use of the comma in the bias of normative grammars in order to ascertain the views of the authors on the teaching of grammar normativity here in holding to the point teaching under the umbrella of traditional grammars. For this research , we used the method of descriptive literature, since it is being developed from existing theories. To sustain the research was raised a very consolidated theoretical framework whose discussion element , grammatical normativity , as Ali ( 1966) Almeida (1986 ), Lima (2005 ), Cunha (2009 ), authors who discuss the use of point from the perspective of normativity. among others that will subsidize the ideas discussed.

Para realização desta pesquisa, foi usado o método bibliográfico de caráter descritivo, uma vez que a mesma está sendo desenvolvida a partir de teorias já existentes.
