Resumo: ABSTRACT. The present article aims to present a first effort to systematize and analyze the experience of collective and interinstitutional construction and the beginning of the implementation of the Licentiate Course in Rural Education - Agricultural Sciences area (LECCA), organized in alternation and agroecological approach, at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of the South of Minas Gerais (IFSULDEMINAS). The Pedagogical Course Project, as well as the documents generated for the construction of this and for the implementation of the course and the observations about the initial pedagogical practices were the main sources of data collection for the elaboration and analysis of this work. The present systematization constitutes an important strategy of visibility and reflection on the peasant reality and the politico-pedagogical practices of LECCA. This experience inspired by the paradigms of Rural Education and Pedagogy of Alternation evidences an ambivalent field of challenges and tensions in academic institutions, but it also brings to reflection the potential of the public institution of higher education as a place of innovation and experimentation of the new paradigms of construction of the scientific knowledge, committed to a new project of school, rural and society.

La presente sistematización constituye una importante estrategia de visibilidad y reflexión sobre la realidad campesina y las prácticas político-pedagógicas de LECCA. Esta experiencia inspirada en los paradigmas de la Educación del Campo y de la Alternancia Pedagógica, es un campo ambivalente de desafíos y tensiones, pero también de reflexión sobre los potenciales de la educación pública, de la enseñanza superior como lugar de innovación y experimentación, de los paradigmas de construcción, de conocimiento científico, comprometidos con un nuevo proyecto de escuela, de campo y sociedad.O presente artigo tem como objetivo apresentar um primeiro esforço de sistematização e análise da experiência de construção coletiva e interinstitucional e o início da implantação do Curso de Licenciatura em Educação do Campo - área de Ciências Agrárias (LECCA), organizado em alternância e no enfoque agroecológico, no Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Sul de Minas Gerais (IFSULDEMINAS). O Projeto Pedagógico de Curso, assim como os documentos gerados para a construção desse e para a implantação do curso e as observações sobre as práticas pedagógicas iniciais foram as principais fontes de coleta de dados para a elaboração e análise deste trabalho. A presente sistematização constitui uma importante estratégia de visibilidade e reflexão sobre a realidade camponesa e as práticas político-pedagógicas do LECCA. Essa experiência inspirada nos paradigmas da Educação do Campo e da Alternância Pedagógica evidencia um campo ambivalente de desafios e tensões na institucionalidade acadêmica, mas também traz para reflexão os potenciais da instituição pública de ensino superior como lugar de inovação e experimentação dos novos paradigmas de construção do conhecimento científico, comprometidos com um novo projeto de escola, campo e sociedade.
