Resumo: ABSTRACT: This paper is part of a research in the Programa de Pós Graduação em Educação (PPGE) at the Universidade Federal do Tocantins (UFT), about the countryside schools implantation according to the model of Casas Familiares Rurais (CFR) at the county of the Estado do Pará, located at North Region. We have reviewed the state of art in countryside education and Casas Familiares Rurais research, developed in research institutes at the region, in order to understand the discussion. This work has used a qualitative methodology, we have used the database from the Biblioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Dissertações (BDTD), a series from 1998 to 2018, applying the descriptors "educação do campo" and "casa familiar rural". We have mapped academic works about this subject in different areas, which helped us to understand that exist a knowledge gap in the countryside education researches, which consolidates the relevance of news studies to contributes with this subject, and that is a big study field for investigations.

Para apropiarse de las discusiones sobre el objeto investigado, se realizó un panorama sobre el estado del arte de las investigaciones en educación del campo y casas familiares rurales desarrolladas en universidades de la región. Para nos apropriarmos das discussões acerca do objeto investigado, foi realizado o estado da arte das pesquisas em educação do campo e casas familiares rurais desenvolvidas em universidades da região. A pesquisa adotou a abordagem qualitativa e para o sua execução, efetivou-se o mapeamento no banco de dados da Biblioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Dissertações (BDTD), com o recorte temporal de 1998 a 2018, aplicando os descritores “educação do campo” e “casa familiar rural”. Este procedimento permitiu mapear as produções acadêmicas sobre a temática em diferentes áreas de conhecimento e nos apontou o cenário das discussões no âmbito de instituições de pesquisas investigadas, desvelando a dívida de conhecimento que se tem acerca da educação do campo, reafirmando a relevância de novos estudos que objetivam contribuir com as discussões sobre este tema, que se constitui um vasto campo a ser investigado.
