Resumo: ABSTRACT. The article presents a reflection about the experience of the Young Agrarian Residence course held in Santa Catarina. Its general objective is to understand the importance of training and schooling the youth linked to the MST. Based on the study and analysis of youth participation in the organization and struggles of the working class, with reference to research that addresses this theme, it has been shown that there are still few studies and research that address the youth of the field linked to the MST and that youth, as well as other rural workers, have experienced a long process of exclusion, which is reflected mainly in the absence of access to education, health and culture. Concerned with the training of young people, the MST has sought to make it possible through partnerships to carry out educational and training activities for the youth of the settlements and camps. The Youth Residency course provided young people with moments of political, cultural and artistic training, living in the university, exchanging experiences, understanding and experiencing the contradictions and limits of life in the MST settlements and camps, as well as making it possible to form youth and the strengthening of the Landless identity.

A partir del estudio y análisis de la participación de la juventud en la organización y en las luchas de la clase trabajadora. Teniendo como referencia investigaciones que abordan esta temática, se evidenció que todavía son pocos los estudios e investigaciones que trabajan el tema de los jóvenes del campo vinculados al MST y que la juventud, así como los demás trabajadores del campo, han vivido un largo proceso de exclusión, que se reflejan principalmente en la ausencia del acceso a la educación, la salud, la cultura. Preocupados por la formación de los jóvenes, el MST ha buscado viabilizar por medio de alianzas con universidades públicas la realización de actividades educativas y de formación para la juventud de los asentamientos y campamentos. El curso Residencia Joven posibilitó a los jóvenes momentos de formación política, cultural y artística, vivencia en la universidad, intercambio de experiencias, percibir y vivenciar las contradicciones y límites de la vida en los asentamientos y campamentos del MST, así como posibilitó la constitución de colectivos de juventud y el fortalecimiento de la identidad Sin Tierra.ABSTRACT. Tem como objetivo geral compreender a importância da formação e da escolarização da juventude ligada ao MST. A partir do estudo e análise da participação da juventude na organização e nas lutas da classe trabalhadora, tendo como referência pesquisas que abordam esta temática, evidenciou-se que ainda são poucos os estudos e pesquisas que abordam os jovens do campo vinculados ao MST e que a juventude, assim como os demais trabalhadores do campo tem vivenciado um longo processo de exclusão, que se refletem, principalmente, na ausência do acesso à educação, saúde, cultura. Preocupados com a formação dos jovens, o MST tem buscado viabilizar por meio de parcerias a realização de atividades educativas e de formação para a juventude dos assentamentos e acampamentos. O curso Residência Jovem possibilitou aos jovens momentos de formação política, cultural e artística, vivência na universidade, troca de experiências, perceber e vivenciar as contradições e limites da vida nos assentamentos e acampamentos do MST, assim como possibilitou a constituição de coletivos de juventude e o fortalecimento da identidade Sem Terra.
