Work psychodynamics of outsourced workers in a public university

Resumo: This study aimed to understand the psychic repercussions linked to the work of outsourced workers who work in a public University in Bahia in the position of receptionists. We specifically sought to understand socio-professional relationships, the conditions and work organization, the performance of pleasure and suffering experienced by these workers and know the strategies used to mediate work-related suffering. The study adopted a theoretical basis of Work Psychodynamics. Semi-structured interviews were conducted and the data were treated qualitatively through the Analysis of the Core of Sense (ANS). The reports of the research participants showed that inequalities in relation to labor rights; lower remuneration, shorter working time in the organization, longer working hours and inadequate working conditions give rise to a feeling of inferiority in relation to the others workers. On the other hand, the experience of precariousness of work drives workers to mobilize defensive strategies to deal with suffering and maintain psychological balance. Reports of pleasant coexistence with peers and managers show a feeling of belonging and gratitude for the institution. In the investigated context, the conclusion was that outsourcing is linked to the experience of precariousness of work.

In the investigated context, the conclusion was that outsourcing is linked to the experience of precariousness of work.Trata-se de uma investigação que teve como objetivo conhecer as repercussões psíquicas vinculadas ao trabalho de trabalhadores terceirizados, que atuam em uma instituição pública de ensino superior na Bahia, ocupando o cargo de recepcionistas. Especificamente, procurou-se compreender as relações socioprofissionais, as condições e a organização do trabalho, a dinâmica de prazer e sofrimento vivenciada por esses trabalhadores e conhecer as estratégias utilizadas para mediar o sofrimento relacionado ao trabalho. O estudo adotou a fundamentação teórica da Psicodinâmica do Trabalho. Foram realizadas entrevistas semiestruturadas e os dados foram tratados qualitativamente por meio da Análise dos Núcleos de Sentido (ANS). Verificou-se, pelos relatos dos participantes da investigação, que as desigualdades em relação aos direitos trabalhistas; menor remuneração, menor tempo de trabalho na organização, maior jornada de trabalho e condições inadequadas de trabalho suscitam sentimento de inferioridade em relação aos trabalhadores concursados. Por outro lado, a vivência com a precarização do trabalho impulsiona os trabalhadores a mobilizar estratégias defensivas para lidar com o sofrimento e manter o equilíbrio psíquico. Relatos de convivência prazerosa com os pares e os gestores evidenciam sentimento de pertencimento e de gratidão à instituição.
