Resumo: | This study aimed to evaluate work psychosocial risks comparing public and private stricto sensu post-graduate programs (PPGs). Two hundred and thirty PPG’s Brazilian professors responded to an online survey, composed of a socio-demographic and labor questionnaire, and three scales of Psychosocial Risk Assessment Protocol: Prescribed Work Organization scale, Pathogenic Work Suffering scale, and Physical and Psychosocial Damage at Work scale. Data were tabulated and statistical analyzes were conducted. The study revealed that teachers of public PPGs presented greater psychosocial risk in the prescribed organization of work (division of labor and social division of labor), greater pathogenic suffering (lack of acknowledgment) and more social and physical damage. The findings indicates the need to offer feasible proposals for policies and interventions in order to foster healthy work environments in Brazilian private and public stricto sensu post-graduate programs. |

The findings indicates the need to offer feasible proposals for policies and interventions in order to foster healthy work environments in Brazilian private and public stricto sensu post-graduate programs.
