SATISFAÇÃO E ESTRESSE OCUPACIONAL NO TRABALHO DOS BOMBEIROS MILITARES EM OPERAÇÕES AQUÁTICAS

Resumo: This article aimed to understand the level of occupational stress and job satisfaction of these professionals when working in aquatic operations in Belém / PA. For this, a quanti-qualitative research was carried out, in which three instruments were used: a) sociodemographic questionnaire; b) Stress at Work Scale (TSE); and c) Work Satisfaction Scale (EST). The survey counted on the participation of twenty firefighters who are part of a group of military firefighters from Pará. It was found that professionals seek to establish friendly interpersonal relationships in the corporation, contributing to the execution of tasks with greater security and confidence. On the other hand, regarding institutional aspects related to promotion, salary and nature of work, higher levels of stress and dissatisfaction on the part of firefighters were observed. In this way, it was possible to understand that the difficulties faced by professionals in this field of activity are found at the macro institutional level, resulting from an organization that presents a rigid hierarchical structure, risks linked to the profession and a work that is not very flexible.

Para tal, realizou-se uma pesquisa de caráter quanti-qualitativa, na qual foram utilizados três instrumentos: a) questionário sociodemográfico; b) Escala de Estresse no Trabalho (EET); e c) Escala de Satisfação no Trabalho (EST). A pesquisa contou com a participação de vinte bombeiros integrantes do efetivo de um grupamento de bombeiros militares do Pará. Pôde-se constatar que os profissionais buscam estabelecer relações interpessoais amistosas na corporação, contribuindo para a execução das tarefas com maior segurança e confiança. Em contrapartida, referente aos aspectos institucionais relacionados a promoção, salário e natureza do trabalho, observaram-se níveis de estresse mais elevados e insatisfação por parte dos bombeiros.
