Summary: Interview held during the 10th IFMA / Campus Acailândia Technical Meeting on January 23, 2019, with education theorist Cipriano Carlos Luckesi, retired professor of the Faculty of Philosophy and the Graduate Program in Education of the Faculty of Education of the University Federal of Bahia (UFBA). Outstanding theorist in the studies in Evaluation of School Learning, there are 5 decades of seminal reflections on the theme. During the interview, the theorist Cipriano Luckesi spoke about his professional trajectory, and made reflections about the evaluation of learning as a pedagogical act, passing through the evaluation as a love act, the distinction between evaluating and examining until the process of consolidation of the studies in Learning Assessment in Brazil. Finally, he addressed the challenges of education for the teacher of the 21st century, as well as the trajectories, experiences and perspectives of the School Learning Assessment.
