Resumo: The Federal University of Tocantins, through the Directorate of Educational Technologies - DTE / UFT, offered and certified the first classes of Specialization in Municipal Education Management of the Support Program for Municipal Leaders of Education - PRADIME. The program used distance education to bring the target audience closer together and made use of educational technologies as an agent of democratization of knowledge. This article reports on the execution of the specialization that took place in the states of Tocantins and Maranhão, with the approach of issues of municipal management, public policy and distance education.

This article reports on the execution of the specialization that took place in the states of Tocantins and Maranhão, with the approach of issues of municipal management, public policy and distance education.En la búsqueda de llevar conocimiento y contribuir con las gestiones educativas municipales, la Universidad Federal de Tocantins, a través de la Dirección de Tecnologías Educativas - DTE / UFT ofreció y certificó las primeras clases de Especialización en Gestión de la Educación Municipal del Programa de Apoyo a los Dirigentes Municipales Educación - PRADEM. El programa utilizó la educación a distancia para acercar al público objetivo e hizo uso de las tecnologías educativas como agente de democratización del conocimiento.
