Resumo: This paper aims to address the possible resignifications of news events on network journalism. To do so, we use tweets about events related to the 2014 FIFA World Cup for illustrative purposes. Our results point to an active role of participation of users on news circulation, acting not only by spreading information, but also by attributing new meanings to the events, which, by being put into recirculation, are reconstructed.

Para eso, se utiliza de tweets sobre acontecimientos relacionados a la Copa del Mundo de 2014, con fines ilustrativos. Los resultados apuntan a un papel activo de la participación de usuario en la circulación de contenidos, actuando no sólo en la difusión de la información, como también en la asignación de nuevos significados a acontecimientos, que, cuando recirculam, se reconstruyen.O trabalho procura abordar as possíveis ressignificações do acontecimento no jornalismo em rede. Para tanto, tweets sobre acontecimentos relacionados à Copa do Mundo de 2014 são utilizados como recorte, em caráter ilustrativo.
