EVASION IN THE PHYSICS COURSE OF FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF TOCANTINS: diagnosis and first results of an intervention project

Resumo: | The low demand and the escape of the Physics Degree programs motivates the current analysis of data in the University Federal do Tocantins (UFT) program and presents a diagnosis about the relation between the offer of Physics teachers and the High School students formation. The analyzes point to the inability of the Higher Education System to meet the demand of teachers, which implies quantitatively and qualitatively in the scientific training of Brazilian students. The diagnosis shows the necessity of the intervention and evaluates the first data of the Institutional Program of Support to the Incoming Student on one of the disciplines of the program curriculum. The first results show a significant impact on student dropout. |

Los análisis apuntan a la incapacidad del Sistema de Enseñanza Superior en suplir la demanda de profesores, lo que implica cuanti y cualitativamente en la formación científica de los estudiantes brasileños. El diagnóstico muestra la necesidad de la intervención y evalúa los primeros datos del Programa Institucional de Apoyo al Discente Ingreso sobre una de las disciplinas del Currículo del Curso. Los primeros resultados muestran un impacto significativo en la evasión de los estudiantes.A baixa procura e a evasão dos cursos de Licenciatura em Física motivam a presente análise de dados do curso na Universidade Federal do Tocantins (UFT) e apresenta um diagnóstico sobre a relação entre a oferta de professores de Física e a formação de estudantes em Nível Médio.
