Resumo: The present final graduation paper has as main objective to elaborate an architectural project, based on the Montessorian method, for the Instituto Cultural Arte de Amar (ICAA) in Palmas – TO, since, currently, the activities of the non- governmental organization Arte de Amar are held improvised and low quality conditions, hence the need to propose an adequate building to attend the children assisted by the organization, providing a teaching of art to the poor people, giving them the opportunity to access art and culture, in addiction to ensuring more control over administrative and institutional issues. The methodology adopted for the elaboration of the study was developed in stages, based on bibliographic research, survey of the needs indicated by organization Arte de Amar, study of related projects such as project reference, diagnostic of current conditions through information obtained through informal interviews with the NGO. In this context, the objectives were presented, as well as the justifications of the study, the concepts of art education, the importance of including art in the child’s learning process, the contributions of the Montessori method of educations in architecture, the contextualization of the NGO Arte de Amar and similar project adopted by other institutions. This final graduation paper brought the characteristics concerning the location of the headquarters and the project proposal, made from the potential study of location, potential analysis of the surroundings, climatic conditions, environmental conditionals and urban restrictions. At the end, the architectural project was made, with the characterizations of the proposal, needs program, zoning and floor plan. It was demonstrated that the project proposed offer a qualified local for the child’s developed, will also provide ICAA with conditions for its administrative activities to be carried out more efficiently.

It was demonstrated that the project proposed offer a qualified local for the child’s developed, will also provide ICAA with conditions for its administrative activities to be carried out more efficiently.O presente trabalho teve como objetivo principal elaborar um anteprojeto de arquitetura, tomando como base o método montessoniano, para a sede do Instituto Cultural Arte de Amar (ICAA) em Palmas-TO, uma vez que, atualmente, as atividades da Organização não governamental Arte de Amar são realizadas em ambientes improvisados e de baixa qualidade, daí a necessidade de propor uma estrutura adequada para atender a demanda das crianças assistidas pela ONG, proporcionando um ensinamento da arte à população menos favorecida, dando-lhe a oportunidade de acesso à arte e cultura, além de garantir mais controle nas questões administrativas e institucionais. A metodologia adotada para elaboração do estudo se desenvolveu em etapas, partindo da pesquisa bibliográfica, levantamento das necessidades apresentadas pela organização, estudo de projetos correlatos como referências projetuais, diagnóstico das condições atuais por meio de informações obtidas por entrevistas informais com a ONG. Nesse contexto, foram apresentados os objetivos, bem como a justificativa do estudo, os conceitos de arte- educação, a importância da inclusão da arte no processo de aprendizagem da criança, a contribuição do método montessoriano de educar na arquitetura, a contextualização a ONG Arte de Amar e os projetos similares adotados por outras instituições. Trouxe também as características concernentes à localização da sede e a proposta do projeto, feitas a partir do estudo potencial de locação, análise potencial do entorno, condições climáticas, condicionantes ambientais e restrições urbanísticas. Ao final, foi elaborado o anteprojeto arquitetônico, com a caracterização da proposta, programa de necessidades, zoneamento e planta baixa.
