Resumo: O trabalho analisa o avanço e a territorialização das lavouras de cana no Noroeste do Paraná e as consequências que gera em termos de concentração fundiária, mudanças nas relações de trabalho e submissão dos proprietários rurais ao capital financeiro e industrial manipulado pelas usinas de açúcar e álcool.
